Words can not express how excited and happy I was for this Fashion show! I was a bit nervous and didn't know what to expect! As some of you know this was my first "gig" I have attended by helping out on Makeup! 

So this fashion show was based on the upcoming Spring and Summer Hair styles! UNITE is: "Under the direction of London-born Creative Director Andrew Dale, the UNITE Academy will teach you to break the rules of creative self-expression and enhance the technical ability that is key to your career. You'll surpass personal limitations with absolute style, precision, and creativity you didn't even know you had." 

I will post pictures up but just letting you know I did not have the best quality when I was backstage. The photographer did not show up:( so please bare with me!

It was a looooonnnggg day for me! The day of the show which was on Sunday I had to wake up extra early because I was out of town! left town by 7am ish and got to San Jose by 9:30am.. I had to leave the house by 10am because it took 45 minutes to get to the gig(call time was at 11am). I was super rushing but good thing I had my kit ready and prepared!

As I got to the show I was the first one to arrive and I had to call my supervisor to see if it was the right place because for a second I thought I was lost! When everyone was showing up I got superrr nervous for some reason! It was very intimidating seeing all of these people in suits with British accents(I love their accents!). I honestly did not know  I was working with amazing well known people until the show had started! 

There were 6 models and two MUAs which was me and another girl. I had three of them and she had the other three. In the pictures my models were in all black dresses.

 One of the Hair stylist, named Flech(the one with curly hair) had approached  myself and the other MUA with a magazine of the look he wanted us to create! He wanted more of the natural look(highlight inner corner.a little smoked out on the outer corner,nude lips, dark brows,and very contoured cheeks.) It was pretty simple to pull out and I loved each and ever model I had! 

I was to be there from 11am-1pm(MUAs may be dismissed at that time) It was super fun because my director/supervisor Daniel had asked me if I wanted to stay during the whole show and help out a little and I said YES of course! He had me help with the models when to tell them to enter the stage and help with them getting settled backstage!

It was such an amazing event! I am totally looking forward into other gigs coming soon! I have actually found what I really love to do and I am shooting higher and higher to achieve my dream! 

I encourage each and every one of you to shoot for your dreams! Yes I know people always say dreams come true and believe me they do! You just need to motivate yourself and have confidence! Get to meet new people and ask questions! Do not hesitate! The more questions you ask the more you get to know things and strive for the better! Don't wait for it to come to you, you have to go and get it!

That is what I learned...People will always be there to answer your questions, don't be shy,and never say you can't do it. Believe in yourself and you can do it! Never let someone doubt you or get into your head about anything. Surround yourself with positive and encouraging people!
